Glenna Burmer, M.D., Ph.D., is a molecular pathologist with a passion for music and art. When not staring at body parts through a microscope, Dr. Burmer can be found irritating her friends and family with her original musical compositions. She lives and works in Seattle, Washington.

Glenna Burmer has gone where no other grown up mom/corporate executive/musician/writer/lyricist/cat lover has gone before. This slice of life account is addictively funny and hard to put down. Her zeal for the process of making songs happen is enough to make you want to start that 2nd career we all dream of. Reading Bad Strumming goes well with tricklings of here Smiling Eyes Cd playing in the background and a fine Chiante and perhaps some fava beans. Keep up the great work Glenna and thanks for sharing.
